LaserJet 2100m Cartridge Is Easy To Use And Simple

by Bryan SOnners

The reviews of the LaserJet 2100m toner are quite favorable. The plaudits are for being user-friendly, for its price and for its relative speed and efficiency. One of many "workgroup" printers on the market today, it can be used at the workplace or at a home office. Smaller than a lot of business printers at sixteen and a half inches by nineteen inches by nine inches, it doesn't take up much space. It only weighs approximately twenty-five pounds. HP literature says its printer can be expected to generate 15,000 pages monthly with HP LaserJet 2100m toner.

If you want color printing, this is not the printer for you as it only prints in black and white. Memory size is nice at eight megabytes. Even nicer is that memory can be expanded up to 40 megabytes. There is some disagreement as to the speed of the printer. Some users find it fine and others think it is too slow. It prints ten pages a minute. There seems to be universal agreement that the printing quality is wonderful. There's a choice of either printing at twelve hundred dots per inch for sharp resolution, or at six hundred dots per second for jobs that need to be completed a bit faster with a slight lessening of quality.

Three paper trays are available with this model. Two of them come with the printer and the third is optional. One of the trays is for custom work and holds one hundred sheets of paper, the second, which can hold 250 sheets of paper, is for regular print work (i. e., regular and legal size sheets, envelopes, checks, etc.) The optional third tray has the same capacity as the second and is helpful for larger print jobs.

Remote management is very important for both offices and for those who work at home. The network component of this printer is very viable, particularly for those workers at home who need to print their work over to their home offices. All that is required is that the computer in the home has access to the business printer network. The networking flexibility of this HP laser toner has been seen as a big plus.

Reviewers have had a lot to say about this printer. Assorted independent reviewers have also written quite a bit about it. What follows are some pros and cons about which they have written.

Because it is a very quiet machine, it doesn't disturb my concentration when I'm working and it's printing.

I like the power-saving feature. It doesn't use the same amount of electricity when sitting waiting for the next job.

It's slower than I anticipated which poses a problem for me. However, on the other side, it's a great durable professional printer.

It is really user friendly. I need that. It's the perfect machine for my busy small business.

I didn't like it. It doesn't print clipart.

I need an output tray that has more paper capacity. The one hundred and fifty sheets are not sufficient for my work.

It's bigger than I thought and takes up more space than I thought it would. But it's a good reliable piece of equipment.

The infrared reader is wonderful.

As you can see, there are pros and cons that need to be considered when deciding whether or not to purchase an HP LaserJet 2100m printer. The most important thing to do before deciding is to see if the printer accomplishes what needs to be done for any given business. If the homework is done then no doubt the purchaser will be content.

Excitement would be a better word than contentment when it comes to the end product of this printer as offered by the 2100m toners. Clean, crisp, sharp print is what an owner expects with HP LaserJet replacement toner and it delivers. Having toner cartridge on hand means a machine that is always ready when you are.
